It is quite controversial because it's about the relationship between Freddie and the London DJ Kenny Everett, but over all it underlines the gay attitude of the two men. This 2 hour special is absolutely excellent!! It was created by the same people that made the Magic Years series and the Champions of the World video. There are interviews with his mom, sister, aunt, cousin, Brian May, Roger Taylor, Peter Freestone (his personal assistant), Mary Austin (love of his life and life long best friend), Jim Hutton (his last live in lover) a member of his 1st band The Hectics, several of his close friends, even the girl he had his first crush on! Montseratt Caballe, the bassist for his pre Queen bands Ibex and Wreckage, over 20 different people involved in Freddies life are interviewed for this special!!! 
They reveal how and when Freddie told them he was sick as well as his last days. The crew goes to India where Freddie was born and shows his town, the photo studio where his very first pictures were taken, his school where they show the hall where his first performances with Hectics were, they talk to his teachers, show his listings in the school registry and programs. They show his college and lots of original Freddie artwork. Tons of rare footage of Freddie and unseen photographs. Covers rare info and background on Freddie that he never talked about.
